The Royal Sovereign Stakes is a 1,200 metre sprint race for colts and geldings at set-weights with penalties.
Taking place at the highly prestigious Randwick Racecourse in Sydney every February, the Royal Sovereign Stakes is held on the Royal Sovereign Stakes Day as part of the annual Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.
